Samrey has 10 years experience of designing, manufacturing and specifying small wind turbines and renewable energy systems. Our workshops are based in Telford, Shropshire and our head office is in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.

Our range of small wind turbine products is helping to make micro-generation affordable to domestic customers as well as providing power solutions to industrial and commercial organisations.  We also have experience in delivering bespoke engineering solutions to a host of different applications.

Samrey Turbines are designed, developed and manufactured in the UK from proprietary items. None of the components are imported, have an alternative use, or are adapted or modified from existing ‘off-the-shelf’ components. Our turbines are designed specifically for superior performance at lower wind speeds, and are manufactured to high quality ensuring a quicker payback.

Samrey products are designed, developed and manufactured solely in the UK, using suppliers in and around Telford to minimise embedded carbon in our products. We offer top quality engineered turbines for what we believe is the best value for money available. Currently available are four turbines:
1.    The Wren (maximum output 300W), a 1 metre diameter rotor model
2.    The Wren Extreme (maximum output 300W), an industrial/marine version of the Wren
3.    The Mistral (maximum output1kW) a 2 metre diameter rotor.
4.    The Merlin (maximum output 2.5kW) a 3.5 metre diameter rotor.

Matched Balance of System components are also available including:
1.    Guyed Tower and Building Mount kits, both utilising standard scaffolding poles, enable the Wren to be either installed on the ground or above a roof
2.    Free Standing and Guyed Towers for the Mistral and Merlin
3.    Charge controllers and inverters that deliver the output from the turbine to where it is required.
