Samrey launch the Merlin
Samrey announce the launch of the Merlin.
Samrey Distributor are taking orders for the Merlin from today. The Merlin has a 3.5m diameter rotor and is cabaple of generating 2500W at 12m/s. We are offering the Merlin in two options, the Merlin / GT (grid tie) and Merlin / BC (battery charging) packages. The packages will come with either a 10m guyed tower (extendable to 12.5m), or 7.5m free standing tower alternative.
The Merlin / GT packages include a turbine, tower, control unit and grid-tie inverter (optimised for use with the Merlin turbine).
The Merlin / BC packages include a turbine, tower, power conditioning unit, diversion controller and dump load.

The Merlin / BC package will be available in 24 and 48VDC to meet end users specification.
Appropriate cable can be supplied as an extra to conform to transmission distance requirements. Technical specifications of the Merlin and towers are now on our website and can be found in the Download section.
